Don't Give Up, We Need Your Stories!

I've loved books for as long as I can remember. I was teased for hiding to read instead of congregating with my peers often. I was the odd girl who always had a book. But that love drove me to create Joseph Editorial Services, a brand that allows me to read for a living. How cool is that?

Follow your passions! Maybe you were like me, the girl or boy who always had a book or two. Those books could have been shields from trauma or coping mechanisms for difficult situations in life. What comfort did you find in those books? Did you gain lifelong friends in the characters? Did you learn life lessons that you still carry with you?

I work with amazing authors, like USA Today Bestselling Author Jessica Cage and prolific author EM Lacey who write stories about Black superheroes! The pages are full of supernatural creatures and characters who look like me!

I'm working with a fantastic author named Justin Ramirez-Hale whose concept is going to blow your mind when you read it. The diversity in his characters makes it impossible for you not to identify with someone in the story.

And author Riann Jenkins is working on a Middle Grades/Young Adult Fiction series that your children have to read. She developed a genius way to guide our future thought leaders without preaching to them, gently nudging them in the right direction through difficult situations.

Do you know what it would have meant had these kinds of books been available when I was growing up? Do you know what books like these mean to today's kids?

You have the opportunity to write stories that will impact the next generation. To allow them to see themselves between the pages, finding the same solace, companionship, and belonging that you did. You can self-publish, giving yourself access to huge audiences with ease through platforms like Amazon, who paid self-publishing authors $250 million in royalties last year. Whether you write fiction or nonfiction, your words are necessary!

It doesn't matter who said no. It doesn't matter who said it wouldn't work. You know in your heart these stories need to be told. What are you waiting for? There's someone waiting to read what you have to say. Let's work!

I'm committed to helping you bring your vision to life! I want your books on the shelves so people all over the world can enjoy the stories you've created. To learn and grow from your experiences. To find the same peace that I did between the pages of a good book. When you're ready to get started, contact me for a free sample edit. It is my honor to serve you and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
